Dis regtig sulke mooi woorde, net nie juis my koppie tee as dit by die lied self kom nie … die melodie is bietjie, uhm, vréémd. Maar sjoe – baie gepas vir die geleentheid! Nou kan Bra Hugh en Ingrid Jonker albei spog dat hulle hulp op groot SA geleenthede ingeroep is. En kyk hoe lekker vat politiek en poësie hande!

Jajaja! Hy kón die trompet behoorlik laat jubel, né? Ek lees iewers dat dit heerlik was om ‘n staatsrede te hoor wat eers deur die spreker se brein is voordat dit by sy mond uitgekom het! Is so.

Amen ja. Ons het gisteraand geluister en ek het vanmore weer rustig gesit en lees. Dis hoë ideale, en net moue oprol deur almal kan dit laat werk. Hoop die kabinetskommeling is ook deurdink en kom gou!

Dis pragtige woorde. CR het my baie beïndruk met sy toespraak. Dis ‘n hengse klomp goed wat gedoen moet word, maar iewers moet begin word. Kom ons hou duim vas.
